Doordarshan News in the race with Web1.0
DD News was launched on November 2003, replacing the DD Metro. A look at the Doordarshan News website will tell that they are happy simple and neat Web1.0. They classify the news into National, International, Business, Sports, Entertainment, Sci-Tech, Social and Health. The only place where one can find some user interaction is at their daily poll.
Couple of years ago Doordarshan used to be the only source of TV news. The table below compares it with other two News Channel websites - IBNLive and NDTV. The result is quite obvious.
